HOME FOR FLIGHT SIMULATOR
My first experiences with flight simulator was the traditional monitor on a desk with the joysick and keyboard.

Needless to say it was nothing like flying a real aeroplane.
Biggest difference was having the scenery/windscreen together with the instrument panel.

Decided that at least two seperate monitors were required.
One for scenery and the other for the instrument panel.
Started using two computers with a network to develop the scenery and instruments as separate systems.

Here I have three monitors on one comupter for vision and two monitors for the instruments on the second computer.

CRTs were the only monitor affordable option.

Big, cumbersome and expensive if you wanted anything larger than a standard monitor.
